Went out to Sentosa with Chang and Lich today. It was SUPER impromptu, I swear. It went something like this on MSN.

1pm or something; (exaggerated, of course)

Chang: I'M BOREDDDDDDDDD. Let's go out!
Me: OMG REALLY? MEMEMEMEME
Chang: YAYAYAYAYA! LET'S GO WATCH MOVEEZ!
Me: I CALL LICH! WHAT MOVEEZ?

Silence for 10 minutes...

Ignore the hard to read spelling please. I was too bored. Went to AMK by bus. Why did I bold the word bus, you might ask. It's because (as you might already know from twitter)...

When we all met up, everyone (meaning those without school, i.e soon-to-be Poly students) were so damned frustrated about the change in tap sounds. Especially Lich, actually, because he's too used to not tapping the card when getting off from the bus.

The feeling was further rubbed in when we took the MRT from AMK to Harbourfront. JC students rejoice; it cost us... wait for it... wait for it... wait for it...

ONE POINT ZERO TWO FUCKIN' DOLLARS. YES. $1.02. YARGGGHHHHHHHHHHH

I am sad. So was everyone else. But enough of that, let's talk about the happenings in Sentosa.

Warning post - Chang is EXTREMELY ownage today and thus most of the happenings WILL and HAS revolved around Chang failing. Yes, her fails will be thoroughly mentioned from now onwards.

Spent 3 bucks going into Sentosa. Nothing epic yet, "explored" the half-opened and uninteresting Resorts World, until....

Gets on train/monorail.

Chang: OH HAI THAR. LET'S GET OFF AT IMBIAH STATION!! THE BEACH'S THAR!!
Lich: WHAI NOT BEACH STATION? BEACH STATION MEANS THERE'S BEACHES NEAR IT INSTEAD OF THIS IMB-WHAT-THE-SHIT STATION?
Chang: OH NOEZ! IMBIAH STATION IS TEH WAY TO GOEZ!

Since Chang seemed so sure of herself, we (meaning me and Lich) reluctantly followed. First thing Chang did after we left the train (or monorail, whatever)? SHE WENT TO SEE THE MAP OF SENTOSA.

Lich and I did a literal facepalm at this point of time. It's still okay, actually, because Chang SEEMED to know her way. And so we walked. Was pretty much burning from now onwards, since the Sentosa thingy was SO impromptu that Lich and I were wearing jeans.

lalalalala, nothing yet... until...

Chang: SEE! THERE'S THE BEACH!
Lich: OWH LOOK! THAR'S THIS BUILDING THAR!
Me: OWH LOOK! EETZ A SIGNBOARD! WHUT DARZ EET SAY?!
Me and Lich: B-E-A-C-H-S-T-A-T-I-O-N. BEACH STATION.
-peers at Chang, who appears to look retarded at this point of time.-
Chang: -trying extremely hard to look buay paiseh- SEE! I TOLD JOO SO! I LED YOU GUYS TO THE BEACH!...
Me and Lich: ..STATION.

So that was it, we walked a super duper long route in the blistering hot sun to the beach, instead of taking the cool, relaxing monorail route.

Nothing much interesting, when to the beach with jeans, sat down, blasted some music, buried our feet, fed Licheng some sand, went back to Vivo. (cough, don't ask me about the bolded part, cough.)

Went back to Vivo, splurged on Starbucks, and took the MRT back to AMK.
